"At least you are not at the level of the person in the apocryphil story who phoned the computer helpdesk when their computer died on them. They then went through all the
usual questions until, when all else failed, were asked to check if the plug was still connected to the wall. The reply came back the couldn`t see even if they pulled their desk away from the wall. After several more questions it eventually transpired that there was a power cut - needless to say computer support were less than polite with their reply to this information;)"


"Hubby used to work on a computer helpdesk and some of the things they were asked were hilarious - one being "What do I do when I`ve got to the edge of my mouse mat?"
Another was "My remote control doesn`t work!" - the person was trying to make the computer work by pointing the mouse at the computer and pressing the buttons!"
