  Paul you already know that I have a German shepard mix and furthermore, 2 cats live with us. It is wonderful to see how happy they are alltogether. There are absolutely no problems despite of what others say.
  
  You are right Ingrid, I am always glad when I come home and my dog comes running to me.

  Alright, let´s talk English.
  I am pretty sure that life would be a lot emptier without our hairy friends.
  Mine is an old lady, nearly blind, and very slow.
  We fetched her out of an animalhome just over two years ago. So we we have no idea how old she really is. But we love her.
  When my husband died a year ago, she became even more important to me. The house is not so empty. And there is somebody there, who greets me, when I come home. I have to take her for walks, which is good.
  Believe me, I do hope that she will be with me for a little while longer, as she is my best friend.

  Hi, Paul,
  yes I am pretty sure that animals are even closer to us when they have been rescued. I think they know and understand a lot more than we think!! Unfortunately my poor darling is getting really old now and the allergic cough does not help either.
  But I do hope that she will last a little longer. I am not ashamed to admit that I love her dearly.
